About the Council
"The purpose of this organization is to strengthen the curriculum and educational opportunities within Purdue University's College of Education by gathering insights, concerns, and suggestions from Undergraduate students. As representatives for the students in the College of Education and Purdue’s Teacher Education programs, we the members of PSEC, hope to inform and serve our constituents and to develop recommendations that will help improve education programs at Purdue University.
PSEC aims to achieve the following goals:
-
To address the needs and concerns of education students;
-
To establish increased involvement of students in meaningful activities relating to the field of education; and
-
To create more out-of-class interaction among students, faculty, and administration."
-PSEC Constitution
What that all boils down to is that we are the College of Education's Student Council. We discuss issues, write legislation, host events, and try to improve our little community here on Purdue's campus. Feel free to reach out to any representatives with questions or concerns you may have. We're here to serve you!
